Personally, I enjoy anything from wistful gazes and hand flexes
to
things so explicit that it would definitely get me banned for showing images of on substack.
So like, I put pepper on my mashed potatoes some days, and other days I’m taking on the one-chip-challenge.
My favorite books tend to be a blend of the two though. Books with the aching longing of the hand flex, and the satisfaction of getting to see all that tension explode.
I find a lot of that in the Sci-Fi romance section of my KU. Most recently in the ongoing series “Fated Mates of the Zaarn” series by Krista Luna and the Xarc’n Warriors series by Lynnea Lee. (I love the Xarc’n warriors series so much I’m systematically committing to buying them all in paperback, including the spin-off series.)
When I want something a little spicier, I lean more towards the mafia and werewolf ones.
And when I need something that causes nosebleeds, The Coveted Prey Series by L.V. Lane.
Okay maybe I don’t fully commit to the one-chip-challenge but like, I’ll lick the chip.
…
I wish I could figure out a better way of phrasing that.
Sound off with your hand flex picks and your anime nose-bleeders!
